Growing to your potential

Every person grows and develops at their own pace. In addition, every person has their own potential. Enabling students to grow, develop, and meet their own potential is my goal for all students.

Today’s students are facing unprecedented pressure, higher academic expectations, more anxiety, and a wider array of learning challenges. The use of technology, though imperative and beneficial in many ways, has added another tax on the developing brain. Children with ADHD, reading, writing, executive functioning, processing speed, working memory, and language-based disabilities are presented with a lot of information that is demanding and can be overwhelming on many levels. However, there has never been a student, in my experience, that has not been able to overcome a majority of these hurdles and grow. Not every child can be a top student, but my goal is to ensure that every student can have hope, personal accomplishments, pride, joy, and ambition. These are life skills needed to not only survive but also to thrive in the global world.
